KITCHEN DESIGN AND SHAPE

Kitchen Concepts endeavors to design kitchens optimizing the space available. The ‘work triangle’ is created in the kitchen which related the cook top, sink and the Fridge.

The design and shapes assigned to the modular kitchen depends upon the size and shape of the Kitchen to be worked upon. Accordingly kitchens can be broadly classified in the following shapes.

     
 
 
The ‘U’ shaped kitchens from Kitchen Concepts :
This is one of the ideal kitchen shapes if we have the space. ‘U’ shaped kitchens are suited for optimal work in the kitchens. Advantages are the convenience of work triangle, ample space and storage.
 
 
 
The ‘L’ Kitchen :
The ‘L’ shaped kitchens from Kitchen Concepts against facilitate the work triangle. This is suitable in both small and big kitchens. This is a very flexible design since it allows for breakfast dining in the kitchen.
 
 
The Straight Kitchens or Parallel Kitchens :
This shape of kitchens is ideal for apartments or small kitchens. ‘Kitchen Concepts’ help design a single straight line kitchen or it may be a parallel straight line. However it may be designed for optimum convenience. This is found in many of the present day apartment kitchens.
 
 
Island Kitchens :
Island kitchens are designed in big kitchens and for those who like open kitchens. It is very spacious and has good storage possibilities. The work triangle has to be planned carefully.
 
 
Pantry Units :
This is close to the main kitchen and in generally treated as a coffee table and is dry area.
